'Being Human' adds Lachman to cast (original) (raw)

'Dollhouse' alum joins for second season of Syfy series

Syfy’s “Being Human” has added former “Dollhouse” regular Dichen Lachman to its regular cast for its upcoming second season.

Lachman, who also has a guest stint in the soon-to-premiere “Torchwood: Miracle Day” on Starz, will play Izumi, a reclusive, centuries-old vampire who causes upheaval when she returns to Boston’s vampire millieu in “Being Human,” which in January became Syfy’s most-watched wintertime scripted launch in six years.

Lachman played Sierra on the Joss Whedon-produced “Dollhouse” for Fox.

Season two of “Being Human” will begin production shortly in Montreal for air in 2012.

Sam Witwer, Meaghan Rath and Sam Huntington star in the supernatural skein. Michael Prupas, Jeremy Carver, Anna Fricke, Adam Kane, Rob Pursey and Toby Whithouse exec produce for Muse Entertainment in association with Zodiak USA.
