Weddings

At Wedderburn Castle wedding ceremonies and receptions can take place in any of the four elegant reception rooms, outdoors on the castle lawns, or at our rustic barn venue.

We welcome civil, humanist, religious and interfaith wedding ceremonies at the castle and barns. There are also several historic churches nearby.

Within the castle, our light-filled, expansive ballroom offers a romantic setting for your wedding ceremony, comfortably accommodating up to 80 guests. For more intimate gatherings, consider the elegant stair hall or drawing room. If you prefer a larger celebration or a rustic atmosphere, our Wedderburn Barns can host ceremonies for up to 150 guests.

Parties

Wedderburn is an outstanding large self-catering venue ideal for anniversaries, house parties, and reunions. The castle offers a perfect setting for entertaining or unwinding in comfort.

The castle harmoniously blends Georgian charm with contemporary comforts, boasting five elegant reception rooms on the first floor, each offering breathtaking views.

Accommodating up to 26 guests in opulent bedrooms, the castle also provides luxury cottages within the grounds to accommodate an additional 16.

On the lower level, guests will find an atmospheric breakfast kitchen and a modern, fully-equipped self-catering kitchen, both capable of catering to parties of up to 26 guests.
