vision zero
On January 10, 2023, the Town of West Hartford Town Council unanimously adopted the Vision Zero Initiative in Support of Safe, Health and Equitable Mobility with the goal of eliminating fatalities and severe injuries on West Hartford streets by 2033

The American Legion Post 96 requests help to collect the small American flags and flag holders from the veterans’ graves at Fairview Cemetery on Saturday, November 16. The collection begins at 8:30 AM and should take about one hour to complete.

The Town of West Hartford offers a bagged leaf collection program for residential properties from Monday, November 4, through Friday, December 20, 2024. Each week on your regular refuse collection day, crews will collect leaves bagged in 30-gallon biodegradable paper bags or the brown yard waste cart.
