About Us
Windthorst High School is among the State’s most dominant programs in Volleyball. The Trojanettes participated in the UIL state final four every year since 1991 (until 2009 when the streak finally ended) and were in the Class A championship game in all but two of those years, including a 12 year stretch from 1997-2008. The school has 14 state titles in Volleyball, the most of any Class A program and previously tied with East Bernard for the most in any classification. The 2022 State Championship was the 14th win -the most in UIL history.
In addition, Windthorst also won the 1996, 2003, and 2020 Class A State Football championships.
The Softball Program has won two Class A State Softball Championships in 2004, 2005.
The Trojans Baseball Team won the school’s first Class A State Championship in 2010.
Windthorst FFA also has 2 State Championships in Dairy Judging.
The first was won in 1990 and the other in 2011.
We work hard to meet your child’s health needs and provide and safe environment for your child to learn and grow in. There is a full time school nurse available in the district. Please feel free to contact her during school hours if needed.

The Windthorst Independent School Distrist has a proud tradition of educational achievement, receiving an “A” rating in the newly formed Accountably System in 2017-2018.
Our Superintendent
The Windthorst ISD School Board named former Burkburnett ISD High School Principal Jason Nolan as the new superintendent of the district during its meeting on July 31st.
