Summary:Collection consists of general correspondence, manuscripts of McCormick's writings and printed matter. Approximately half of her papers consists of correspondence received at the New York Times, 1936-1954. Carbons of her replies are on the backs of letters or are interfiled. Also included are typescripts of lectures, 1940-1952; clippings of articles by or about McCormick, ca. 1931-1954; UNESCO documents, 1946 and 1948; interview notes; photographs; and printed materials. Fifteen scrapbooks containing clippings of McCormick's columns, ca. 1936-1954, have been microfilmed (original scrapbooks are held by the Women's Press Club of New York City)
