Summary:This is a collection of papers relating to Robert Breckinridge McAfee, a Kentucky lawyer and politician. The papers include a letter written by McAfee in 1807 to Colonel James Taylor about depositions to be taken for a case in Mercer (County) Circuit Court (67M205) and a diary McAfee kept in 1808, in which he noted events of the day, his personal reading, and attitudes of the day about various topics, including Shakers (52W16). Also included is a typescript copy, made in 1922 by Samuel M. Wilson, of McAfee's memoirs (62W6)
