Summary:Included are typescript versions of program notes, and poems and other readings used at Promenade Concerts and other concerts conducted by Kostelanetz from approximately the 1940's until the 1970's. Musical works represented include "Carnival of the Animals," Camille Saint-Saëns; "A Lincoln Portrait," Aaron Copland; "Nutcracker Suite," Tchaikovsky; and "Mother Goose Suite," Maurice Ravel. Also included are programs and clippings relating to a 1951 concert conducted by Kostelanetz with his wife, soloist Lily Pons, in Oslo, Norway
