Summary:Consists of correspondence and corporate and social records that document Francis Crowninshield's activities in Boca Grande, Fl. and Marblehead, Ma. Correspondents include: William Marshall Bullitt, Boca Grande Corporation, Boca Grande Mercantile Company, and Chauncey Nash. Of particular interest is a letter to Crowninshield from Franz Preuschen of Germany discussing America's possible entry into World War I. Also of note is a catalog of the Francis Boardman Crowninshield Exhibition at the Ferargil Galleries in New York City in 1944
