Letter, 1836 Oct. 14, Boston, to William | WorldCat.org (original) (raw)
Summary:Transcription of letter: Dear William, C.C. Burleigh will not be at Providence Saturday, but will be there in time to fulfill an appointment for Tuesday evening. If you think it best, you can have an appointment for him for that evening at East Greenwich. I think it would be well. You can send down word to Deac. Brown. Time will be lost if he does not go then. I think it would be well for both C.C.B. & H.C. Wright to go to Bristol next Saturday, i.e. Saturday the 22nd. Keep the agents at work.--1. Enlightening the people. 2. Urging them up to the state meeting. They will need hints on this point. 3. Pushing petitions. 4. Getting them ready to redeem their pledges at state meeting. Henry is some better. In haste, truly. H.B. Stanton
