Summary:The records include correspondence, photographs, clippings, proceedings, articles, press releases and speeches. Most of the information pertains directly to planning for and execution of these conferences (both national and state). The collection contains the Proceedings for each national congress. Some proceedings include verbatim reports of question-and-answer sessions. Speakers included such individuals as Abraham A. Ribicoff, Secretary of the Department of Health, Education and Welfare; Leonard W. Larson, President of the AMA; Assistant Attorney General Herbert J. Miller, Jr.; Commissioner of the FDA George P.
