Summary:Contains files of Louis V. Place, Jr., executive vice president of the W.J. McCahan Sugar Refining and Molasses Company. Also includes his copies of the minutes of the executive committee of the Sugar Institute from 1928 to 1936. The content of Place's correspondence indicates that he was involved in many aspects of the sugar industry.
