Summary:Creating a Committee, given the "Alarming situation of this Colony" which has made it necessary to "raise a number of Troops, to defend the same, and the extreme scarcity of money" to collect "powder money" being held by Theodore Atkinson collected as a result of a tax levied on foreign ships; resolving that they should collect "all the money & powder he has in his hands, as receiver of the Above S'd duty ... that no Excuse or delay of payment can be Admitted."
