Summary:The National Geographic Expedition Album consists of 26 black-and-white photographs, in a small photograph album, taken during the National Geographic Society expedition to the Northwest Territories. The album documents the activities and events of the expedition as well as the scenery and landscapes traveled through and the people and their cultures encountered along the way. In particular, images of boats, shops and canoes, camps, and icebergs at the mouths of rivers, Inuit people on board ship and at villages, members of the expedition and the Indian guides who accompanied them all provide information on the daily lives and experiences of expedition members
