Summary:The collection consists of the papers of John Donald Wade during the years 1946-1950. The major part of the collection is correspondence - letters from Wade soliciting manuscripts for the Georgia review, response letters from authors (including Flannery O'Connor, Robert Penn Warren, Sinclair Lewis, and others), letters relating to Wade's horticultural interests, and some personal letters. Also included are clippings, printed material, writings by Wade, and thesis research by Anne Wade Rittenberry
