Summary:Collection consists of 1.6 cubic ft. of the Special Assistant to the President's records. The series and order of the records are as they came to the University Archives. The first series, General files, is made up of general subject files and include correspondence, memos, and reports. Prominently featured are folders on equal employment opportunity. The University committees and task force series hold information on a number of university committees Taliaferro was on. The third series, Outside committees and groups, consists of files on outside committees in which Taliaferro represented the University, such as the Rotary Club, the Bloomington Industrial Golf League, and the Camp Atterbury Job Corps. The fourth and final series, Discrimination charges, consists of files brought together during discrimination cases the University was embroiled in. Because these files frequently include employee evaluations, these files are closed to researchers
