Summary:This collection consists of 50 acrylic portrait paintings of the Bloomsburys and supporting cast, and 58 books and a variety of papers by and about the Bloomsbury Group and the individuals included in and associated with Bloomsbury. According to George Milton, the donor, "These portraits are strictly personal impressions, gleaned from a study of letters, memoirs, autobiographies, biographies, as well as photographs, several trips were made to England, in order to visit residences, and places frequented by many of the subjects."
