Draft of typescript volume one is also present with corrections in pencil found corrected in the second draft of volume one. This draft is the only typescript out of the three that has initials "CWB" (for "C. William Beebe") on first page and "Beebe" on p. 3 written in pencil

Typescripts are from library of William Beebe and include notations by Beebe in both ink and pencil through out the text in all three items

Vol. 2 contains four separate pages of handwritten notations by Beebe which directly corresponds to page 135 of the typescript [page 299 in original book?] where the notations were originally discovered. These notations correspond to Beebe's specimen numbers and notations he collected before writing "Tropical Wild Life in British Guiana" published in 1917 with joint authors G. Inness Hartley and Paul G. Howe
