Summary:Papers, 1881-1938, mostly diaries and correspondence. The correspondence consists mainly of Kendall's letters to his parents, 1887-1892, written while he was an art student in New York and Paris. The diaries, 1907-1938, deal with personal matters, but include some references to his work as an artist. The collection also contains a scrapbook of newspaper clippings about Kendall's work, a notebook listing his paintings and their prices, a miscellaneous notebook, and a few other papers, including certificates of school attendance, confirmation, etc
