Summary:Correspondence, letters, notes, genealogical findings, family history research, and photographs relating to the Lee and Rust family members whose ancestors immigrated to the U.S. in the mid-17th century, settled in New England, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and the Midwest; became landed gentry, military officers, professional businessmen, and leading citizens in the 18th and 19th centuries and modern day industrialists. Family members represented include Hancock Lee (1797-1860), James Kendall Lee (1829-1861), George Rust, Jr., and E. Marshall Rust, Jr. (1879-1946).
