Summary:Letter informing Gen. Ward that a continental regiment is forming in Portsmouth under Pierse Long and requesting that Ward order Long to Ticonderoga where he can join forces with Gates. After his arrival, the 3 regiments commanded by Stark, Poor, and Reed should return to Portsmouth where they can recover from "the almost unspeakable Fatigues & Distresses they have undergone."
