Summary:Photocopy of a microfilmed copy of a typescript of an interview. Bowe was interviewed by Travis Jordan in 1937 as part of the Federal Writer's Project for the Works Progress Administration. The item includes handwritten corrections. Bowe talks about her master going to the Civil War and when the Yankees invaded the plantation. She slaves hid and saved the jewelry and silver objects.
