Part of S-25


Russian surface-to-air missile. The 215 was a derivative of the 207A with a nuclear warhead. It entered service in 1957.

AKA: Berkut;La-215;S-25.

Factory trials were completed in 1956. One such missile would be capable of destroying an entire American bomber group. It was accepted into PVO service in 1957, and deployed together with the 207A conventional warhead missile.
