PYRRHOS DEDICATES ROMAN SPOILS AT DODONA
Date: 280 B.C.
Format: see key to translations
This inscription, carved on a piece of bronze, was set up amongst the Roman weapons that Pyrrhus sent back to Dodona after his victory at Heracleia in 280 B.C.
King Pyrrhos, the Epirotes and the Tarentines dedicate these spoils from the Romans and their allies to Zeus Naïos.
