Under 19s defender from <1987> who also played . After winning the 1988 best and fairest, Knight joined Tasmanian side South Launceston.
He crossed to side Dandenong in <1990>, playing in their <1992> premiership before joining Springvale from <1993> to <1995>. Knight was named Captain of the Springvale Team of the Century, the VFL Team of the Decade and the Dandenong Team of the Century.
Knight coached Noble Park from <2000> to <2004>, before moving to Queensland where coached Broadbeach. Coached Labrador in <2011>, and Melbourne suburban team Norwood in <2016> and <2017>. Coached Morwell in the Gippsland League in <2019>.
