Сюжет
Океанский лайнер «Посейдон», во время атлантического круиза из США в Европу, терпит бедствие в открытом океане. Лайнер переворчивается вверх килем и большинство людей на борту гибнет. Группа выживших после аварии пассажиров пробирается с верхней палубы к днищу корабля , чтобы попытаться выбраться наружу и спастись.
