The pentagram in cinema : The Da Vinci Code (original) (raw)
The Da Vinci Code (2006)
Langdon defends, somewhat, the meaning of the pentagram:
Langdon: "The pentagram is a pagan religious icon..."
Fache: "Devil worship!"
Langdon: "No... no, no... a symbol for venus, the female half." [00:01:46]
Yet the two appearances of the pentagram are negative: first drawn in blood on a dead man's chest and later as a finial on a staff held by a cowled and masked figure during a sex magick ritual.
