[Arthur Seymour Sullivan] Walery of London Photo. May 13, 1842 - November 22, 1900 Noted operatic and choral composer, First Principal of the National Training School of Music (1876-81) and composer of St. Gertrude, to which Sabine Baring-Gould added the words "Onward Christian Soldiers", Sullivan is best remembered for his partnership with British playwright Sir William S.
