Stars with Exoplanets: OGLE-2005-BLG-390 (original) (raw)

The red dwarf, which wouldn't be detectable with normal instruments, showed as a microlense (similar to MACHO-98-BLG-35). Thereby around it has a planet been discovered with only 5.5 times the mass of Earth. This orbits its star every 10 years in 2.6 AU distance. Its surface temperature is estimated to be only 53 kelvin.
