Hi everyone, Dropbox is actively hiring for people to work on Pyston, our LLVM-based Python JIT. Any previous experience with Python implementations, LLVM, or JITs is helpful but not necessary. The positions are available in San Francisco, and include the normal perks and benefits of working at a company like Dropbox.
Pyston is moving along quickly but could use a few more key members. There's a wide variety of areas that can be worked on, such as the core jit technology, runtime libraries, high level language optimizations, or VM improvements -- or even more experimental areas such as applying static analysis to speed up clients of the old Python C API.
You can learn more about Pyston from our blog or our github: http://blog.pyston.org/ https://github.com/dropbox/pyston
