Hi Henry,

I don't know what the plans are about moving the static methods in Comparators to the Comparator interface when static interface methods are enabled, but if that is planned, there will be a clash between Comparator.reverseOrder() default method and static method with same name and signature. We will be exploring that along with other classes given static default method support ready. Cheers, Henry

And what about the aComparator.thenComparing(Comparator) method name? Do you think it's ok to use the same name as in aComparator.thenComparing(Function) ?

A suitable alternative might be aComparator.thenUsing(Comparator).

Regards, Peter
