Looking com.sun.corba.se.impl.util.IdentityHashtable then it appears that the code was originally copied from code in what was the JDK1.1.6 workspace at the time. It's not clear to me that having the @since JDK1.0 tags in several methods has anything but negative value here. One of the really odd ones is com.sun.corba.se.impl.io.IIOPInputStream where the readObjectDelegate has both @since JDK 1.1 and @since JDK 1.1.6 :-)
