I worked out AquaFileChooserUI and updated the webrev to adapt comments from both you and Joe.

AquaComboBoxRendererInternal : why and not just ? AquaComboBoxUI:427, 510, 530 - you can replace JComboBox with JComboBox<?> and avoid a @SupressWarning annotation.
