Alejandro sent note that all jdk9 ppc-aix changes are integrated into jdk9/dev.

Hi Vladimir,

thanks for doing the the testing and merging. There's one small issue we found on AIX: Change https://bugs.openjdk.java.net/browse/JDK-8031968 moved os::getdefaultprocesshandle() from osposix.cpp back to the various platform files but didn't do this for AIX. The fix is trivial - just sent out a RFR. So if you could please push that fix first, everything is ready for merging the port into jdk9/hs. I am pushing this and 2 fixes from Goetz. I will push into jdk9/hs after that.

Any idea when this will finally arrive in jdk9/dev? I assume it will be next week after PIT testing on code in jdk9/hs is done. But it is not guaranteed, could be week after next. As far as I understand, you'll push the whole jdk9/hs-comp forest to jdk9/hs right? I'm just asking, because we have a jdk change in jdk9/hs-comp/jdk which is needed for AIX. So this must be pushed into jdk9/hs/jdk as well. Also the whole jdk9/hs forest will have to be pushed to jdk9/dev for the same reason. I see only 8033154 fix in jdk which I need to push into main. I will push it together with hotspot and ask Alejandro to push it into dev after testing is done. Thanks, Vladimir Regards, Volker

I pulled all hotspot changes from jdk9/hs/hotspot to jdk9/hs-comp/hotspot today. And I am pushing additional ppc fix for 8034797. I merged jdk from jdk9/hs/jdk yesterday. Now jdk9/hs-comp forest has all changes from jdk9/hs. I ran jdk control build of whole jdk9/hs-comp forest in JPRT and it passed. Volker and Goetz, please, verify that jdk9/hs-comp does not have any problems for you. I will merge it into jdk9/hs tomorrow if it is good. Thanks, Vladimir
