Hi all,
How long do we plan to continue support for LinuxThreads (vs NPTL) Linux variants? There would be some coding in os/linux which could be thrown away if we stopped supporting LinuxThreads. If we do not get rid of it: does Oracle still run tests on Linux variants which use LinuxThreads?
LinuxThreads is "dead". We do not support it at all and have not for a long time. IIRC some LinuxThreads code has been removed in places when other changes have occurred. There was a big clean up of this slated but I don't know what happened to it - I guess adding new features took priority. :(

Thanks!
