The following JEP is proposed to target JDK 11:
318: Epsilon: An Arbitrarily Low-Overhead Garbage Collector http://openjdk.java.net/jeps/318 Feedback on this proposal is more than welcome, as are reasoned objections. If no such objections are raised by 23:00 UTC on Thursday, 18 January, or if they're raised and then satisfactorily answered, then per the JEP 2.0 process proposal [1] I'll target this JEP to JDK 11.
Hearing no objection to the feature itself, I've targeted this JEP to JDK 11.
Further bikeshedding of option names, debug vs. product status, and related issues can take place on hotspot-gc-dev during code review.
