The JDK Updates Project page has been updated with new, draft rules with the intention of streamlining project management: http://openjdk.java.net/projects/jdk-updates/
There's no "Push Approval Request Template" - is that no longer needed? Isn't that one? http://openjdk.java.net/projects/jdk-updates/approval.html For 8u we have a request template: http://openjdk.java.net/projects/jdk8u/approval-template.html For jdk-updates we're using a JBS based process with no email request.
Right, I see what you mean. It makes sense to have exclusively at JBS based process. We will still need to ask for review via email, but I think having a template for that may be overkill. Do we expect emails on jdk-updates-dev to be anything but backport requests?
Cheers, Mario
