I'd like to see jdk10 have the same weekly cadence as jdk9 does, which seems to work well.
Integration of fixes from jdk9 to jdk10, publishing of pre-release binaries and javadoc (etc... testing ...?) are all things that jdk9 and jdk10 can do in parallel until 9 is released. And it should not be too much of a burden for our heroic release engineer; just run the same scripts twice.

FYI, yesterday Lana did the first pull of changes from JDK 9 into JDK 10 as part of the the new model we're trying [1]. Over 400 changes were involved and the merges went smoothly.
