We plan to keep the current logic of using odd update numbers to deliver applicable fixes from Critical Patch Updates (CPU) for now. The next planned date for Oracle Java SE Critical Patch Updates [2] (7u9) is before the planned release date for the JDK update release currently under development in this Project. The current fixes in the jdk7u forests will now be targeted to the 7u10 release. i.e. 7u8 moves to 7u10. The release schedule for current fixes will not be impacted.
