How much do we care about the collision with javax.swing.Action? How much do people care about java.util.List vs java.awt.List? A non-rhetorical question; I don't know. But it would impact the same people in the same way.
javax.swing.Action tends to be used in list or map (hence ActionMap or InputMap), so sure there will be some collisions.

As I first implied overly cutely, "block" is a heavily overloaded word. So, while it sounds OK in context, it will confuse people who aren't thinking about the context. The other term with plenty of precedent in Java and elsewhere is "Action". And seems not to have any odd overloadings. I'd be OK with it. -Doug
