Is there a https module available ?
One that makes calls to SSLeay would be great ? I would be willing to help debug/test/write one if there is not one available.
A quick solution to this is STunnel: http://mike.daewoo.com.pl/computer/stunnel/
It took about 2 hours and it was up and running.
The software acts as a wrapper, you hit port 443 with a https connection, the software handles the SSL part then passes off the plain text to the normal web server running on port 80. The only problem is that it passes the local host IP address to the web server so logging is not very useful.
