Once I have worked out exactly needs to be done for each possible thing (deletion, rename), then going through the motions in terms of just doing the right thing for 2.6/3.0. I have an idea on how I want to test the deletion warnings. Once I have that in place then it should be a matter of adding the tests to test_py3kwarn, the warning in the module, and the proper note in the docs.
