I have recently taken over the maintenance and development of PyGoogle, a native Python module for accessing the Google Web APIs. Currently, it allows you to search Google, retrieve a page from the cache, and ask Google for spelling corrections.
This module was originally developed by Mark Pilgrim (http://www.diveintomark.org) and now lives at SourceForge. Please take a look if you are interested in developing Google Web API applications in Python.

Thanks, Brian
