I have a bug report assigned to myself which really is more about autoconf than Unicode. The problem is that the SIZEOF_xxx tests cause the Metroworks compiler on BeOS to fail and this again causes these defines to be set to 0 !

Could someone with more autoconf experience please have a look ?
