Out of curiosity, is anyone currently dumping CVS to CDROM once a month or so? If not, do people think this would be a Good Idea?

(I'm asking because search.python.org got hacked, and it occurs to me that having a long-term baseline might be a Good Idea.)

(Let's first get agreement on whether this is a Good Idea, then worry about how to do it, okay?)
