Not in reality. The only thing that carries weight when the pedal hits the metal is who backs up their complaints with their money (resource, talent, time). Zope Corp is doing that bigtime for Python, so no matter what's said here, in the end Python will be exactly 6.1% less stable than Zope Corp is willing to pay for .
