Doesn't sound like there should be a problem. Most of my changes are to the read logic -- I also added a bunch of regression tests for the new features, but I did it in such a way that collision seems unlikely. I'll check them in today or tomorrow and make sure everything is copacetic.
Eric, can you put off your checkin until after I've created the 2.3a1 release branch?
