Of course it's not---it's about Python. But I have worked extensively with a programming system that attempts to implement the functionality of PEP 263. Is that experience irrelevant? That experience came in XEmacs---of course I'm going to refer to it.
By the way, where others in this thread have similar experience, it would be helpful if they could refer to previous implementations similar to PEP 263.

Emacs is one of the good environments for doing so semi-automatically, though.
