Thanks for the report and the workaround, Mark.

I've moved the comment inside the tag to appease MSIE, so the affected PEPs ought to work now (12, 256, 257, 258, 268, 290, 301). Please let me know if anything's still amiss.

So what's the solution? Ignore the browser bug or work around it? Ignoring wont work .

Yes, it's hard to ignore a cranky 400-lb gorilla.
