calc-mode comes with XEmacs btw, and I still don't know what does and doesn't come with FSF Emacs.
I read, a year ago or so, that Calc was going to be distributed with Emacs, and maintained with it.
calc-mode is (and has been for years) wonderful even to add a bunch of numbers!
Calc is wonderful, indeed. Together with Gnus and PSGML, and surely many other things, it makes Emacs a tool which is not easy to replace. :-)
