Yes. I've got a patch that fixes the boom case, but I'm not sure I've handled the case where the object becomes reachable as a result of running PyObjectHasAttr(). I'll post after testing that.
It's SF patch 715446.
There's a lingering problem with test_gc, but I hope it's tractable.
